Some 450 skilled IT people have been converted into job seekers. I would estimate about half will never find work in IT again because our cost of living is higher than that of a foreign country and workers based here cannot compete.
Lloyds TSB is simply responding to market forces.
So ask yourself who has the power to do something about this and then ask why they haven't.
