These short-sighted banking executives fail to realise that importing IT skills - aka offshoring - reduces the knowledge capital of the UK.
Banking will follow the electronics industry and the motor industry in becoming an import-only service with banking provided by another country.
Who then will generate the funds for the operation of this country.
Lloyds TSB will never see my business in the future.
