Wake up and smell the coffee. Offshoring is the process of service importation. Who generates the payments for those imported services?
It is UK based companies and UK based tax payers. The only people genuinely gaining from outsourcing are the countries providing outsourcing and the executives/shareholders of globalised companies.
Look in the Sunday newspapers and see how many UK manufacturers sell cars now. The failure of the UK management to invest in the UK let car imports flood the market and destroy our industry. Precisely the same thing is happening now with outsourcing (service importation) in the UK Service industries.
Soon we'll be a nation of Hairdressers, Journalists and Civil Servants.
