Comment

Pete Smith of Inmarsac is clearly not seeing the wood for trees and is fails to see the long-term impact of by short-term cost cutting. Job cuts here resulting from off-shore outsourcing will have a damaging effect on the UK economy. Rising unemployment means lower tax revenues and consumers (those in or out of work) will have less disposable income to buy products and services. This means the economy will decline to potentially third world standards we will all lose out.

Personally I will not deal with companies who outsource components of their business and I would urge others to do the same because it is the customer who keeps businesses in business and those in charge of those businesses need to be reminded of that important point.
